What do space mods introduce in MCPE?
Mojang Studios has announced that they will not be incorporating space-related content in upcoming game updates. Consequently, Minecraft PE users have taken it upon themselves to integrate the sci-fi genre into the game.
At present, there are over a dozen modifications introducing various dimensions. Players have access to an array of weaponry, armor, blocks, and even creatures eager to eliminate you.
Some of these addons even replace existing content, making exploration in MCPE even more engaging.
The Space Addon
This Minecraft PE mod does not introduce anything new but instead transforms the familiar End dimension. Its primary colors are black and white, representing the space you’ve longed for.
Users don’t need to look for new ways to access this dimension—nothing has changed regarding portals. Eyes of Ender and fortresses remain essential components.
Additionally, there is a spacesuit in MCPE. The oxygen helmet provides eight heart points and enables underwater breathing. The space jumpsuit offers resistance to knockback.
Meanwhile, leggings boost your speed, making them ideal for fleeing from intergalactic monsters. Space Shoes protect you from fall damage.
As you might expect, they are made of leather. Essentially, the spacesuit replaces the leather armor in Minecraft PE. Although it’s white by default, you can dye it to suit your preferences.
Spaceship Addon
Another MCPE modification serves an equally fascinating purpose. It turns all Overworld zombies into actual spaceships that you can mount.
These spaceships can fly and transport you with them. While their model may not be as impressive as it could be, they still offer a truly remarkable experience.
These mounts are fast and agile. Moreover, they are highly durable, making them nearly indestructible in Minecraft PE.
To control these zombie-spaceships, you’ll need a golden sword. The process is similar to mounting a pig.
